Breakfast Oven Hash – Hashbrown Casserole

This recipe was such a lucky find. I love hashbrown casserole, and when I saw this old recipe, I was excited to see if it would taste anything like the popular restaurant version. Boy, was I off base. It tastes much BETTER than the restaurant version!

Breakfast Oven Hash


Mix together

2 cans cream of potato soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp garlic salt

Pepper to taste

Then add to the mixture

1 large package frozen shredded potatoes or 4 1/2 c shredded fresh potatoes, rinsed

2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Serves 12-16
